This 2-part series (offered as a whole, or in individual sessions) will introduce you to general approaches to somatic (body-based) healing.
We will learn the basics of nervous system regulation fight/flight/freeze/collapse response through practice and discussion.
Together we will practice and build tools of emotional resiliency and resourcing.
Session 1: Intro to the Nervous System and Tools for Self-Regulation via yoga postures, and other movement forms, breathing, music and relaxation.
Session 2: This session will continue the work of Session 1 with a focus on how to work with distraction, overwhelm, procrastination.
